Mother Goose on the Loose
Wednesday mornings at 9:30 beginning September 3
An early literacy program for children from birth to three with their parents or caregivers. Mother Goose on the Loose uses a variety of activities such as rhymes, songs, puppets, and instruments to foster speech development, motor coordination, confidence, and sensitivity to others.
Tuesdays 10:00 to 10:45 beginning October 29
This story time program is for children who are 4 to 6 years old. Action songs, finger plays, rhymes, flannel board and picture books are selected to complement the theme of each story time. A craft is included. REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
No Bake Cooking - Tuesdays with Weezer
1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 3:30
Learn no-bake cooking at the library. Each week children will make a different no-bake recipe. Ages 8 and up. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
Paws to Read
3rd Thursday of the month at 3:30
Children can read to Caro, the therapy dog, for 15 minutes. To register for a time slot please call the library at 654-2581 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Registration guarantees a spot, but drop-ins are also welcome.
Art of Movement
Thursdays at 10:00 beginning October 31st
An introductory opportunity structured to stimulate coordination skills, listening skills, balance, basic music and creative movement, and motor development in the youngest dancers. An excellent introduction to the world of dance and expressive movement exploring dance through stories, shapes, colors and other themes.
Fridays 3:00 to 4:30
Come create Lego structures-- just bring your imagination. All ages welcome. NO REGISTRATION NECESSARY.
